A bit about me

Until we have our first conversation, we’ll remain strangers to each other. With the information below I’ll try to share a bit more about myself in advance. Maybe this can help to break the ice!

Curiosity

Being curious is what defines me the most. As long as I can remember I wanted to know and understand everything, especially the answers to all the big questions. The more mysterious, the more fascinating!

Imagination

Coming up with new ideas, far-fetched scenarios, fantastic theories not making any sense, or creating new things without finishing them… I do have a crazy mind sometimes, but that’s okay.

Introvert

Being around many people or in big crowds is not my favorite. I enjoy having a good talk with one other person or being on my own. During the years, I became an expert in refusing invitations to parties.

Garden

In my spare time, I like to work in the garden, growing fruits and vegetables. In general, I appreciate some hard physical labor. Digging holes and building meaningless constructions without cleaning up, are my favorite.

Failing

I have a great relationship with failure. I tried out many stupid ideas and lost all my money numerous times. Failure guided me to have a life that’s perfectly suited to me and all the experience is a bonus.

Career

Before counseling, I have been working as a painter, making all kinds of murals and artistic decorations. I have been also active for a while as a marketeer, but being a businessperson is not my cup of tea.

Education

To whom it may concern, I have endured studying sociology (Ma) and psychology (Ba) at the university. Also, I have had a fair share of training regarding, life coaching, intuitive coaching, trauma healing, etc.

Detached

I am quite detached from the world. My philosophy is we can’t take anything with us when we leave, so don’t get too involved. My main focus is on counseling and for the rest I live in simplicity and solitude.

Intuition

I make most of my decisions intuitively. The ideas come spontaneously without a rational process. People who know me think of me as being impulsive or irrational and I’m happy to confirm, I really don’t know what I’m doing.

Authenticity

I have spent much time and effort in introspection to find myself and cast out the beliefs and attributes that were not my own. To be able to be authentic and accept others entirely for who they are is important to me.

Wisdom

To acquire wisdom is my greatest passion and I appreciate very much the beauty and depth of wise words. The pursuit and the sharing of wisdom is my life purpose. My contribution to the domain of wisdom will also be my only legacy.

Talkative

There is nothing better than an interesting conversation. I like talking a lot but about the deep stuff. By being a counselor, I can do that all day. But small talk about the daily affairs or what’s new on TV doesn’t float my boat.

Humor

Being not serious, I take it very seriously. I enjoy very much practicing dry humor and joking around has always been my way of dealing with difficult situations or cheering someone up. Humor is a great way of connecting!

Stubborn

I’m a very stubborn person and like to do things my own way. It was always difficult for me to listen to parents, and teachers or follow the common rules and routines. You can’t learn much if you obey, because you will miss out on all the interesting failures.

Discipline

I can only find motivation for what I like to do and have a complete lack of discipline. The worst thing that could happen to me is to have a job with much rules and supervision. I like to feel free and not to be too hard on myself.
